Refund Policy
Effective · 2026-09-11
First, to be clear: self-hosting is free, so there is nothing to refund. This page is entirely about the cloud subscription.
At a glance
| Situation | What you get back |
|---|---|
| Within 7 days of payment · service not yet used | Full refund; Cloud ends when the refund is processed, and the account moves to Hobby |
| Within 7 days · already used (knowledge data uploaded · remote MCP called) | Withdrawal may be limited under paragraph 2 of Article 17 of the Act; this is stated before payment |
| Yearly subscription canceled mid-term | Pro-rata refund for the unused full months; Cloud ends when the refund is processed, and the account moves to Hobby |
| Monthly subscription | No refund for the month already paid, except where the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce gives you a broader right — canceling stops the next renewal |
| Operator-side causes (service shutdown · termination attributable to the Operator) | Full refund for the remaining period (Terms, Articles 13–14) |
How to request one
- To stop renewal — cancel on the plan screen in the app. Cloud stays in effect until the paid period ends; then the account moves to the free Hobby plan and nothing is erased. We don't ask why, and we don't add steps.
- To get a refund — email thbeem94@gmail.com with the address you paid with, or use the payment provider's support link on your receipt email. Either works.
Payments are processed by the payment provider as the merchant of record. A refund is paid by that provider to the payment method you used. The Operator never stores card details, so it cannot pay a refund any other way.
When you get it
We submit the refund to the payment provider within 3 business days; it takes effect once the provider approves it; while it is pending, Cloud stays available (except after account deletion, which ends Cloud immediately). It can take a few more days to appear on your statement, depending on the provider and your card issuer. Refunds are in the currency you paid, and any tax charged is returned with it.
Where the law is broader, the law wins
The baseline above follows the withdrawal right in Article 17 of Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. If the law where you live grants broader rights (for example the EU consumer 14-day withdrawal), that law prevails.
This page is a guide; the binding text is Article 8 of the Terms.
